So glad to see fellow challengers-pilled people on substack. As much as I wanted challengers to be recognized by the academy, it has done something greater and much more impactful. It has cemented itself into a defining pop culture moment of this decade and I am sure will be regarded as nothing short of a cult classic in the years to come. Also why would the LGBTQ+ community have to forgive Patrick Zweig? he did nothing wrong.

I’d also add that I thought the editing behind this was phenomenal. I thought it should’ve gotten a nomination there.

The way they craft the entire story behind one tennis match, weaving in memories that gave each individual the upper hand for the respective sets they won was super creative. The transitions were so smooth too.

Incredible. I freaking love Challengers. The character design is so brilliant and inspiring to me as a writer, like I have so many questions about each character but it works so well with those questions unanswered. I will never forget Patrick Zweig.

A marvelous picture that I still think about to this day and the score is the best score of last year. Great article

The first time my partner and I watched this movie I can only describe our reactions as "inject this directly into my veins". An actually perfect film!!

Burst out at: "I think Christopher Nolan should be taking notes on the nonlinear timeline here, but that’s a conversation for another day" & "Someone get Tom Hardy’s agent on the phone so he can help cook up bisexual cinema’s final boss". Thank you for another excellent read!

I don't want to celebrate my sins here, but I kinda wanted to claim this movie for all the cheaters. I've never seen a movie that so crystallizes why someone would cheat and/or convince someone else to cheat, and what happens AFTER they've already committed to the cheat. I watched this movie with such recognition that it was like Satan's fire tickled my bottom a little, and dammit, I liked it. This is an overshare!
